Chimney Covers
The Band-Around is made of 18 gauge embossed aluminum. The cover comes with 1/8" x 3/4" extruded aluminum braces. The cover is also equipped with a bird guard which is 16 gauge welded wire with 1/2" x 1 1/2" openings. The band that secures the cover is 2 1/4" 18 gauge diamond embossed aluminum with stainless steel nuts and bolts.
The hood overhangs the masonry approximately one inch on all sides. The skirt will cover the masonry a 4 1/2" to help prevent deterioration due to the weather. Eight stainless steel screws hold the cover securely on the corners. The cover is also equipped with a bird guard which is 16 gauge welded wire with 1/2" x 1 1/2" openings. This cover is available in aluminum, stainless steel and copper.
